Halloween Entryway

On Friday the 13th my boys and I decorated for Halloween.
Most of our decorations ended up in our entryway, and I have to say, I think it turned out pretty cute and so I wanted to share it with you today.

See Our Lucky Green Kitchen Cabinets!!

I bet you already knew that my kitchen wouldn't stay all-white for long, Right? Ha!

Garden Fresh Salsa

My sweet neighbor, Pam, gave me some fresh veggies from her garden, along with a recipe for a really delicious salsa.  She gave me a taste of the salsa that she had just made, and it was so good that I immediately went home and made a batch up for myself. I asked Pam if I could share the recipe on my blog, and she kindly said yes.

End Of The Month Randomness { September }

As I'm cleaning up my picture files today (which I'm trying to get into the habit of doing at the end of each month) I realized that there's quite a bit of things that I didn't get around to posting about. And truthfully, this is the case at the end of every month. So many projects remain unshared for one reason or another. And So I have decided to create a new series that I'm calling, End of the month randomness. Here I will share some behind the scenes, project fails, and some of my life moments.
Let's get started!

So you saw my porch right after I painted my front door, Right?

Seasonal Simplicity Fall Home Tour 2017 [ Part 2 ]

And just like that, it's another season!
Which means it's time for another Seasonal Simplicity Home Tour!!
A big thank you to Krista, from The Happy Housie, and April, from House by Hoff, for hosting these fun tours every season.  And as always, you can find the full lineup of fabulous bloggers at the end of this post.

Outdoor Fall Tablescape

One of my favorite things about fall is the weather.  The cooler weather always feels so nice after the scorching heat of  Summer, but yet it's not too cold to be able to enjoy the outdoors. There's also a crispness in the air and Fall just has a certain smell to it too that is all so welcoming.

When the lovely, Alicia, from A Burst of  Beautiful invited me to join her and some other blogging friends for a fall tablescape tour, I immediately said Yes, and I knew right away that I wanted to create an outdoor fall tablescpae to enjoy the weather and smells of fall with my friends and family.

Fall Into Home Tour 2017 [Part 1]

Decorating our home for all of the changing seasons is one of my favorite things to do. That is why I got really excited when Rachel from Maison de Pax invited me to take part in the Fall Into Home Tour again this year.  There is such a lovely group of bloggers in this tour and I will be sharing the links at the end of this post so that you can go check them all out for yourself.

If you are already following along on the tour, then you should be stopping by from Finding Silver Pennies. I relate so well to Danielle's coastal style, although she is lucky enough to live by the coast, whereas I just pretend that I do :)

For today's tour I will be sharing our entryway and living room with you, and then next week I'll be back to share a few other spaces around our home that I've decorated for fall. Be sure that you are following me here, as well as on Facebook and/or Instagram so that you don't miss any of it.

Past Fall Home Tours

I'm currently putting together this year's Fall Home Tour and for inspiration and just for fun, I took a look back at how I have decorated for fall in the past.  It's interesting to see how much our home has changed in the last couple of years.  Mostly, I think I've just accumulated more "stuff" LOL :)
My 2014 fall tour has me laughing a bit at how sparse our house looked.

Anyway, I thought these old fall tours might be fun for you too.

Our New Front Door Color Revealed!!!

Did you catch my post on Monday?  If not, head HERE first to make your guess on which color you think I painted our front door and then come back over to see if you are right!

So what color do you think I picked?
Like I said, they are all great color choices. I actually liked All of them myself.  Perhaps I will be painting our door again in the future. But for now, I'm loving our new door color, and that color is................

What Color Do You Think I Painted Our Front Door???

You guys I just painted our front door again!!!!

You may have already heard that I was going to paint it if you follow me on Facebook and/or Instagram.  I even got a few NOOOO's which made me smile. My door color was pretty popular before and probably my most asked blog question has always been, "What color is your front door?"

But if you haven't figured it out by now, I Love Change! I do! The color was great before, and the color is great now, and I'm sure the next color I paint it will also be great. ;) There's just so many great color options out there to just live with one forever.

Okay, so today's post is a fun one!!!  I had So much fun putting it together.
I headed over to Lowes.com/Olympic, uploaded my picture, and used the paint color visualizer to try out 11 different Olympic paint colors on our front door. Olympic paint is my favorite paint by the way.

I think that ALL of the colors I chose would be great options for our door, but of course only one of these colors is the one I picked. So just for fun I thought I'd have you guess which one you think I picked.
*Please keep in mind, that the colors you see on screen may look slightly different in person.
